Installation Note 34369: Object spawner port conflicts might occur after migrating from SAS® 9.1.3 to SAS® 9.2
Port conflicts might occur after migrating from SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.2 when two object spawners are defined on the same machine in SAS 9.1.3, and these two object spawners are migrated to SAS 9.2. During the migration process, both object spawners are assigned the same port numbers for their port banks.
The duplicate ports are incorrect, but will have no negative impact until pooled workspace servers are created for both spawners, and an attempt is made to use both pools at the same time.
To circumvent the problem, use the Server Manager in SAS® Management Console to change the port numbers for one object spawner port bank to ports that are not already in use.
